Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island
The boys from Irvine, California, are hitting the road on their Victory Granden Tour. Young The Giant, Cold War Kids & KennyHoopla will be at the Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island on Friday, August 7th as part of this road trip led by the Cali indie band. They're hitting the road to promote their latest album, which goes by the same name, Victory Garden. We've got "Different Kind of Love" as the first single for the release that you can listen to now as you find your seats at this performance.
Cold War Kids are also promoting a relatively recent album. Oddly enough, they decided to self-title their 10th album. Meanwhile, KennyHoopla wants to ask, "How Will I Rest in Peace if I'm Buried by a Highway?" Technically speaking, we're talking about 3 indie bands, but even though they share that label, each of them provides a different vibe. You can be a part of this stop on Friday, August 7th, by clicking the "Buy Tickets" link today.
Sameer Gadhia is one of the better versions of a modern rock frontman that we have today. This is an element that you can only truly enjoy in a live setting. A lot of the elements that Young the Giant bring to the stage go beyond the music. That's not to say that you won't have a blast when Mind Over Matter or Cough Syrup start blasting from the speakers. It's just a reminder, if you will, that the "experience" that you're buying into is worth it. Obviously, it also helps when you've got the Cold War Kids as backup. These true indie vibes that you don't get with too many modern performers.
Pro tip: make sure you add some of the tracks on the new "Victory Garden" album to your regular playlists leading up to this performance. One of the worst experiences at a live show is standing in the crowd, not knowing a song that the rest of the audience is singing their hearts out to. It's like sitting alone at lunch; it creates a hole in your stomach. Since you certainly don't want to be that person, be sure to catch up on the Victory Garden songs. We'll have a full album drop before this performance at the Huntington Bank Pavilion, so no issues there.
Although the lineup can make you feel like you're at a one-day indie rock fest, the entire experience isn't as long. Why is this relevant? Well, because it means you can have more confidence in finding a standing spot near the stage to truly take in the rock concert vibe without having to worry about how your feet are going to feel at the end of the day. Sure, you might be out here for around maybe 4 hours, but it's nothing compared to 8 or 12, even. If we're being honest, the best spots are near the front!
If you want a spot toward the back of the Huntington Bank Pavilion, those are going for under $60 at this point. Hit the "Buy Tickets" link now to cash in on great deals.
