Better Broken Tour

Sarah McLachlan just released her first album of new & original material in 11 years, stirring up much excitement from both longtime fans and younger generations who's been tuning in for her graceful music. Her 10th studio album, "Better Broken", comes with new songs described as melancholic yet uplifting, proving that her gentle heart for music stays true to this day. It follows 2014's "Shine On" which drew themes of loves, loss, and change. Her new album explores growth, relationships, the mess of life, and stories that keep you grounded. All in all, it's great to see a new era blossoming in her career. Filled with love, while we're 'better broken', we all have each other.

"I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be taking my Better Broken Tour across the US this summer. I can’t wait to play these songs for you in some of the most iconic outdoor amphitheaters, and to be sharing the stage with the incredibly talented Allison Russell each night." - Sarah McLachlan shared in an official release.

The Story Behind her New Album

"Better Broken" arrived 11 years since the pop-rock veteran's last album, "Shine On"—released in 2014. The 2025 release came as a surprise to many of her fans, and music critics alike. Known to write songs that navigate what she feels all about life, and the underlying uncertainty through it all, her new record beautifully captures wisdom, strength, and hope for humanity,

11 songs packed in a powerful set, it's filled with songs that she's prepared for several years now, written during the pandemic and the world's growing pains with politics.

"When I started to work on the album I thought this might be my last record, so I owed it to myself to step out of my comfort zone," McLLachlan told GRAMMY.com. "It was really important for me to come to a place with this record where I felt brave enough — and confident enough — to speak my mind, perhaps, more directly than I ever have in the past."

Taking her voice back, this album is a reawakening—a catharsis in the studio of everything she left untold. Crafting something so powerful and close to heart, it's a no-skips Sarah McLachlan album. This also marks her first release with Concrod Records, and fans have their fingers crossed that we're all set to see even more new surprises from the "Fumbling Towards Ecstasy" creator.

Overall, it's about music that moves with purpose. "You can never underestimate the power of a moment, and the power of somebody doing or saying something that resonates really powerfully with other people, that can create positive change, even if it's just a ripple," she told GRAMMY.com, sharing how these ripples can turn into huge waves, allowing "shifts to happen."

Taking "Better Broken" out to the road, get ready to feel whole as you celebrate with a community of fans that deeply resonate with these tunes. Don't miss out by booking your tickets now!
