Get ready for the return of Outlaw Festival as the crowd-favorite celebration of Country, Folk, Americana, and Rock music enters a new decade of tradition. This year's festival shows great promise with even more big artists coming over to lead the outlaw movement with the pioneer - the legendary Willie Nelson. He'll be joined by Avett Brothers & Lukas Nelson + more. At 93, the "Always on My Mind" singer just keeps on taking everyone by surprise! He's set to serve up a legacy that runs deep, one that's changed music forever.
At 93, he just can't help but keeping rocking out. An iconc who revolutionized country music by refusing to give in to Nashville's standards during his rise. With his jazz influences & battered guitar "Trigger", the man made history. A social activist and a highly-regarded cultural outlaw, he sure is one of music's most important artists.
He led the outlaw movement when he rejected the "Nashville sound" that the industry kept on pushing. He's got hits, like "Railroad Lady", "Red Headed Stranger", "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain", and "Georgia on My Mind", that all shared his iconic spins on the genre. A pioneer of the outlaw movement, he's always made music under his own terms. In 2023, Nelson celebrated his 90th birthday, and held a huge star-studded concert in honor of his music. It took place at the Hollywood Bowl with performances taken from his extensive songbook. Featuring Sheryl Crow, Snoop Dogg, Norah Jones, Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, and Nelson himself, it was a celebration like no other.
Back on the road for this year's Outlaw Festival, get ready for a wild night with the legend himself, and next-gen trailblazers who keep the outlaw movement alive and kicking.
"Being on the road and playing for the fans is what I love to do. We don’t get to do as many shows as we used to, so every night out there means a little more. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone and making it a special time," Nelson shared in a press release for the tour.
