Louis Tomlinson was one-fifth of the globally popular boy band One Direction. His music career began when he joined the singing competition, The X Factor in 2010. He was grouped with four other singers, eventually becoming One Direction. The group moved on to be one of the best-selling boybands in the world.
In 2016, the group went into hiatus, and Tomlinson released his debut solo single, “Just Hold On,” with Steve Aoki. The song peaked at number 2 on the U.K charts and entered the Billboard Hot 100 at number 52. The single eventually earned platinum certifications in five countries and gold in the U.S. In 2020, Tomlinson dropped his debut album, Walls, which debuted at number 4 in the U.K. and nine in the U.S. The album spawned several hits, including “Two Of Us,” “Kill My Mind,” and “We Made It.” Apart from the U.S. and U.K., Walls entered the charts in 23 other countries.
In November 2022, Tomlinson released his sophomore effort, Faith In the Future. The album was preceded by the single “Bigger Than Me,” which charted in six countries. Meanwhile, “Out of My System” and “Silver Tongues” also followed up on the lead single.
Tomlinson took to social media to announce his excitement for his upcoming tour. “Really, really excited to finally announce the North America tour!” He said. “These songs were created for these moments, and I can’t wait to share them with you!”
