Chancellor Bennet AKA Chance The Rapper was born on the Southside of Chicago back in the 90s, and broke out with his 2012 mixtape 10 Day, a bold first project that was made while Chance was suspended from high school for ten days, and put him on the map right out the gate. Then came Acid Rap, a masterpiece that put the whole city on notice and had everyone dropping tabs during the summertime chi, and brought thousands of fans packin’ the United Center ten years later for a sold-out hometown tribute a few years back. Off the charts, Chance’s groove and grit have always been about more than the music — its community, life, its soul! He gives back to the city, has done hundreds of community events, and he’ll always be a king in the city because of that. And now?! He’s so back, and we’re so ready to see the energy he brings every night on tour. Especially here in the city - you KNOW we gotta come correct.
