Formed in 1984 and currently consisting of Vocalist/Guitarist Dexter Holland, bassist Greg Kriesel, guitarist Noodles and drummer Pete Parada, the Offspring first saw massive commercial success with their third album "Smash," which sold an incredible 11 million copies around the world, setting the record for most albums sold on an independent label ever!! Their success continued with their next albums; "Ixnay on the Hombre," "Americana," "Conspiracy of One," "Splinter," “Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace," and finally their 2012 album “Days Go By.” Their long-awaited 10th album is due for release in 2018, as the band have confirmed in an interview. Alongside other California bands including Green Day, Pennywise, Bad Religion, and Rancid, The Offspring are considered by many to be one of the driving forces in re-popularising the punk genre and assisting the genre’s revival in the 90s.
The album doesn’t have a release date set yet, but we think its likely that by the time the 6th September rolls around, the Offspring will have some all-new material on their setlist!! Get ready to experience it all live – have you got your tickets yet??
