Foreigner has turned 40!!! The "Cold As Ice" superstars are heading out on tour with Cheap Trick & Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience, and they'll be coming to Firstmerit Bank Pavilion on Wednesday 9th August 2017!

"I couldn't be a better mix for me," Founder Mick Jones says. "It's almost like a family tour, with some healthy competition from everybody, I'm sure. Cheap Trick's not an easy band to go on after." Jones expects some collaboration as well once the three acts are on the road together. "I'm sure everybody's gonna get on like a house on fire, so it couldn't be better as far as I'm concerned," he says.Foreigner, Cheap Trick & Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience at Firstmerit Bank Pavilion

British-American hard rock band Foreigner, began in New York City in 1976. Formed originally of three Englishmen (veteran musician Mick Jones and ex-King Crimson member Ian McDonald and the band's original drummer Dennis Elliott), as well as Americans Lou Gramm, Al Greenwood and Ed Gagliardi, the band decided to name themselves Foreigner as a representation of their international roots. The band's self-titled debut album was released in March 1977 and sold more than four million copies in the United States, staying in the Top 20 for a year, and launching the hits "Feels Like the First Time", "Cold as Ice" and "Long, Long Way from Home". The band's biggest hit single, "I Want to Know What Love Is", topped the United Kingdom and United States Charts among others. Foreigner are one of the world's best-selling bands of all time with worldwide sales of more than 80 million records, including 37.5 million records in the US.
