Born and bred in New Orleans, Suicideboys has taken over the Internet with their massive hits, “… And to Those I Love, Thanks for Sticking Around,” “Kill Yourself (Part III),” and “Runnin’ Through the 7th with My Woadies.” These songs are noticeably absent from the Billboard Hot 100, but they, along with Suicideboys’ other hits, have earned several gold certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America. Yes, Suicideboys are a thing, and they’re set to take over the mainstream scene and sit on the throne. The duo, composed of cousins Scrim and Ruby Da Cherry, uploaded their self-produced tracks to the streaming music app SoundCloud. After a series of non-album singles and mixtapes, they gained a cult following through word-of-mouth.

In 2018, Suicideboys finally released their debut album, I Want to Die in New Orleans. The record debuted at number 9 on the Billboard 200. Apart from the U.S., the album also entered the charts in ten other countries, including the U.K. and Australia. After a stellar debut, the duo released their follow-up album, Long Term Effects of Suffering, in 2021. Preceded by singles, “New Profile Pic," "Avalon," and "Materialism As A Means To An End,” the sophomore record peaked at number 7 on the Billboard 200 and charted in nine other countries. Moreover, the record topped the Independent album charts and peaked at number 2 and 3 on the Top Rap Albums and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. This summer, Suicideboys will release their third album, Sing Me a Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation.
