Don Henley is an American singer-songwriter, producer, and drummer, best known as drummer and co-lead singer for the Eagles, before embarking on a successful solo career. Henley has had many successful hits as a solo artist, including: "Dirty Laundry", "All She Wants to Do Is Dance", "The Heart of the Matter", "Sunset Grill", "Not Enough Love in the World" and his biggest single "The Boys of Summer". Henley released his debut album, I Can't Stand Still, in 1982, and since then has released five studio albums, two compilation albums, and one live DVD. The Eagles were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998 and are the biggest selling American band in history. Henley had five No. 1 singles, 17 Top 40 singles, and six No. 1 albums, and won six Grammy Awards as a member of the Eagles. As a solo artist, he has sold over 10 million albums worldwide, had eight Top 40 singles, won two Grammy Awards and five MTV Video Music Awards. Henley was ranked as the 87th greatest singer of all time by the Rolling Stone magazine in 2008.
